What’s it like to be a school principal?

Local business leaders learned what it takes to manage a public school when they shadowed OTSD principals during the annual Principal for a Day event, sponsored by the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce Career Education Committee.

Participants witnessed the array of talents and expertise necessary for creating a positive school climate, building relationships, being an instructional leader, ensuring a school is safe and secure, partnering with parents, and ultimately guiding students toward the future they deserve.
