October is National Principals Month

National Principals Month recognizes the essential role that principals play in making a school great. Throughout the month, we will highlight each of our principals for their tireless efforts in pursuit of excellence in education.

Superintendent Aaron Bayer considers Kim Ball “a leader and role model among our school administrators.” Kim started her career in 1997 as a teacher at Sandy High, and has since served as principal at Cottrell Elementary School and Sandy Grade School, helped launch the Oregon Trail Academy, and now serves as Sandy High Principal. School Digger has ranked Sandy High 61st out of 283 Oregon high schools for 2017. Sandy High student academic performance is better than 78% of Oregon high schools.
