My name is Michelle Aker. This is my fourth year at Sandy Grade. I am so excited to be back at Sandy Grade this year and to be teaching 4th grade again. I have a passion for learning and teaching and it is very exciting to share that with the students I teach. I have a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with minors in Early Childhood Education and Human Services from Oregon State University as well as a Masters in Teaching from Concordia University.
When I am not teaching, I can be found spending time with my family and friends, being active outside or baking yummy desserts! I enjoy dancing, camping, archery and crafting. My husband is a high school teacher and Varsity basketball coach. I have a son named Bennett and he keeps me very busy.
I am looking forward to making this year the best year yet!
