Roads still icy in Mt. Hood Area

The persistently icy roads  in the Mt. Hood area are too slippery for school buses. Mt. Hood Area high school students will be picked up at the Welches Thriftway at 6:45 am. Absences will be excused for those high school students who cannot safely make it to the bus or high school.

Welches School is closed Friday due to icy roads. No bus transportation will be provided from Welches area to Sandy High. A decision will be made on the remainder of the district Friday morning by about 5:00 am. Please check our website, social media, or FlashAlert for updates.
