Thursday, February 15th, 3-4pm in the Media Center

 

This is a National Poetry competition. We’ll have a school competition in early February. The winner will go on to Regionals in Portland, with a chance at state competition in March and even the national competition in Washington DC! (The National champion wins $20,000!!)

Want to try?

  • Choose a poem to MEMORIZE from this anthology.  (It MUST be from the anthology)
  • Practice your expressive delivery. (Check out the tips and examples on this page.)
  • Wow us at the competition after school the first week of Spring Semester. (Check back for the final date.)
