Sandy High School-Student Fees 2018-19

 

While there are no required registration fees at Sandy High School, there are items that are available for purchase as follows:

ASB Validation/Student ID- $25 All students who purchase the ASB Validation will be helping support Student Activities at SHS, such as assemblies, dances, and other student-led events. The ID card with validation will allow free admission to all regular season home athletic competitions and a discount on dance tickets. ID cards will be distributed on Picture Day.

2018-19 Yearbook-$50 Pre-order now to reserve your yearbook. The price goes up to $55 after winter break, and supplies are limited in the spring.

Spirit Pack- $75 Buy both the ASB and Yearbook for $75 and you will receive an SHS lanyard at no charge!

Parking Permit-$20 Students who park on campus during school hours are required to register their vehicles. The fee must be paid and the Parking Registration Form must be completed and turned in to the Fees Office to pick up the Parking Permit.

Athletic Fees-$170 Participation in OSAA sanctioned sports requires a $170.00 fee, payable at the time of tryouts. There are scholarship and payment plan options available; they must be applied for at the time of tryouts. There is a family cap of $680.00 per year for athletic participation fees.

Activity Fees-Participation in certain clubs and activities require participation fees as well. Speech Team participation is $130. Drama is $65 per performance for the first two productions that are participated in, with a maximum cost of $130. Cheer team participation is $65 per season and there may be camp and uniform costs as well. Some other clubs have participation fees and/or dues as well. Class Fees- Class Fees for Electives, such as Art, Industrial Technology, and certain Science classes are listed in the handbook and are listed on the back of the student schedules that are distributed on theĀ first day of each semester. They are charged per semester and are due by the end of September and January for each semester.

Outstanding Fees and Fines- Participation in upcoming activities and athletics may be restricted by outstanding fines. If you have questions about fees or fines please contact our bookkeeper at 503-668-8011 ext 7127. Assistance may be available for financial hardship.
