The Oregon Trail Education Foundation believes every student should have the opportunity to grow beyond their experiences in the classroom, and financial hardship should not be an inhibiting factor to those opportunities. Created in 2011, the No Pioneer Left Behind (NPLB) Scholarship Fund assists students in need with the fees associated with school-sponsored athletics and activities. NPLB promotes student health, character, scholarship, and citizenship. It is the hope and expectation of the individuals contributing their time and resources to this effort that we increase student participation in the valuable opportunities that exist in our schools.

NPLB is funded with proceeds from the annual Art Skipper Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament, held each September at the Mt Hood Oregon Resort golf course in Welches. For information about the tournament, call 503-668-8011 ext. 7106 or 7114.
