Kelso Elementary held it's Jog-A-Thon on Thursday, Oct. 16 with the help of blue skies and sunshine, while students and volunteers at the Naas Elementary Jog-A-Thon on Friday, Oct. 17 ran in light rain. Everyone had smiles, however, as participants at both schools had a great time while raising money for their schools.
Kelso's fundraiser will be used for field trips, classroom activities, art projects and classroom supplies, and their Jog-A-Thon was sponsored by Wegener Travel and Cruise, Trimble Rentals, Jamba Juice and Auntie Annies, Tarlton Construction, Maeco of Oregon and Tippi Toes Dance Studio.
The Naas Jog-A-Thon will help fund arts and science activities, technology updates, field trips and Family Nights.
