Alicia McVicker, Public Education Specialist for the Clackamas Fire District, dropped by Kelso Elementary on Thursday, Jan. 29 to give students a little bit of fire education. Students from kindergarten through second grade learned about ways to prevent fires and what to do in the event a fire occurs in the home, along with some of the established phrases like "Stop, Drop and Roll" and "Get Out and Stay Out." Students also received an activity book and sticker.
